1. What We Collect (And What We Don’t)
No Long-Term IP Storage: We do not store raw IP addresses in our analytics databases. Instead, incoming request IPs are hashed using a daily-rotating salt and discarded immediately.
Newsletter Subscribers: When you subscribe to our newsletter, we store your email address solely to deliver hair updates and editorial guides. We never sell, rent, or trade our email lists with third parties.
2. First-Party Analytics
Our server logs request timestamps, response latency, device categories, and whether the visitor is a human reader or automated search crawler. These first-party analytics are separate from the Google advertising technologies described below.
3. Outbound Merchant Links
When you click an outbound link to Amazon or another affiliate merchant, you will be redirected to that merchant's external website. Their respective privacy policies and terms govern any activity on their platforms.
